STEM

today room 4 and 6 did another STEM challenge and we are learning to problem solve as a team we went into buddies   and we made chairs out of paper and tape and we could use scissors. what i thought went well was holding it up because we had to use one staffed animal and see if it could hold it. what i thought i could of worked on was putting more legs of paper on to it and putting more layers onto it

Ten commandments

room 4 has been learning about the ten commandments they are important because if you dont follow them are would will be all about stealing and murder so that is why we need to follow them. what i thought was cool was learning about them all and how different they are to the other ones. something i could work on was adding so much detail when i am writing about one.

room 4 and 2 are learning to work with people we dont normally work with and we work with people like that a we have to do challenges and then we test then to see if they work today we had to make a marble shoot and we did it right what i would do next time is join in more.

saving sand dunes

Room four went to the beach on Friday and we learnt about the creatures on the beach and that some crawl on the sand and some hide. and there are tips of Beatles on the beach and sand hoppers and a Lister d and there is a a spider on the beach and it has venom in the spiders.and and we learnt about the plants at the beach one was could a ice plant and i thought that was funny because the beach is so hot.  we went there because in Re we learnt that we shroud respect are home and we made are own sand dunes and we also went there to now how to care for sand dunes. the teacher that told us all about them she works at the city council and made a program for kids.  what i enjoyed about it was decorating the sand dunes that we made and what i dident  really enjoy was all the hot sun and all the sand in my shoes do you now what a sand dune is?

Escape room challenge

Room four and two has been learning to work as a team and solve problems. it is called  a stem challenge. we get into groups and the teacher gives us a problem and we solve the problem we had to do a escape room challenge it means you find cloys to get out the class. i felt happy when i did it. what was hard was getting to find the clues. what word well for my team was writing on the clues. a goal for me is helping out more.

What we learnt with Hannah. we learnt that sometimes we can flip are lids that means if someone hurts you or you are just upset that you might do something bad you either fight freeze or run away oh and her is a tip if you flip your lid take a deep breath and then talk to someone about  your feelings i am going to take a deep breath if I flip my lid. what would you do?

narrative writing

in my class we are learning to write a narrative for a narrative you need a title and a problem and you need charters and describe the settings and end. i enjoyed  writing a problem because and i found hard trying to use punctuation because. my next step is to use more punctuation, I will do this by. have you done a narrative before. and i found my punctuation because i diffident put cap tel letters.
The mirror.

Once upon a time there was a cottage, inside this cottage was one little girl that always got into trouble. Her parents left her at the cottage and they said they are going to the supermarket to get things for dinner and they never came home the little girl was all alone in the cottage. then in the morning she checked again and they still weren't there so they checked outside she yelled mum dad but no one answers. then she saw something moving in the bushes but it was just a hedgehog she keeps checking around the forest and she found her dad she asked her dad where is mum dad said he doesn't know so they keep checking but they saw a mirror in the middle of the forest the little girl put her arm threw the mirror then she pulls out her mum then they went back to the cottage and had dinner and talks about what happened in the forest but her mum couldn't remember anything.

baptism

in the first couple of days my class has been learning about  baptism. we learnt that it was the first sacrament and to make holy water is you need oil and water and when you get baptised you wear a white garment and when you light the candle and it lights up and it is the light of christ and when you get baptised it means you swear that you folow  god.have you got baptised

We went on a trip to the museum. we saw  heaps of fake animals and anthony gave us clip boards with
Paper on them and we did a scavanger hunt .we learnt that birds in the south pole can go  hurndred meters down into the water to find food. i would like to now more about how much sea animals there are. I felt good about the trip because i could see some animls that i have never sean before why are there so meany  animals.

Slivery snake !!😜

We are learning to  describe a character, to do this you have to say what they like and what they don't like and what they look like. I enjoyed learning new staff about it, like learning new things about my character. What i found  challenging about it was trying to find the picture for it. I have became better at writing because i have used more descriptive words, like slivery, big as a giant and other things!

Statistics

We are learning about statistics and gathering information like bar graph or a pictograph or tally chart i enjoyed people voting . what was challenging for me was having to find out new staff about it.  I will like to learn more about the telly chart. Slime Factory 💖

 we are learing to write persuasively arguments. we made a advertisement about slime.because it is really fun to play with and it can crunch and it can stretch so so so far and it can not stick to you or your friends and you can trad your friend for a other slime. And it is from the  slime factory it is
All ways the best slimes there. And it can even be rainbow slime we call them unicorn slimes they
Can even be stretchy if they are rainbow Did you now that? I enjoyed playing with my slims from the slime factory. what was challenging for me was trying to make video.what do you now about slime?

Pentecost

Hi i am going to tell you what pentecost is pentecost is when the holly spirt came upon gods
disiples then they got to speak in diffrent   languages  and then they shared the word of god
And it is the birthday of the church and when the town people found out they were in shock
They were like wow.
